NigglyNoo (and by that I mean me) has recently developed an iPad app focusing on the first year of baby development. It’s been so exciting to see the app go from a concept to being a real product that is available for sale. It has also been something of a labour of love.
Without sounding like a sales pitch, I want to tell you why I think the Baby Development Activities App is a must have for all first time parents. Do you remember what it was like with your newborn? The seemingly endless feeds, changes and sleepless nights? The uncertainty of why baby is crying and what you should do? The number of times you took baby to the doctor because you weren’t sure whether something was normal or not?
Once the fog clears and you can start forming coherent, logical thoughts again, you begin to wonder what you should be doing to entertain your baby. Are you stimulating them enough or too much? Is baby getting enough tummy time? Surely she’s bored being at home all day? What milestones should he be meeting and when? So, you begin to trawl the web, looking for answers (in all your spare time
I am so passionate about baby development and helping parents give their children the best possible developmental start. This app is something of an expression of that passion.of course!)
Well, with this app, all of the information is in one place. You can find month-by-month developmental milestones and each milestone has easy activities that you can do with your baby to help them reach those milestones. So, instead of all of those hours of research, you can have a glass of wine, put your feet up and relax, knowing all of the info that you need is in one place, on your handy iPad.

In this day and age of information and technology, where pushing prizes are often iPads instead of rings, more and more baby-focussed apps are being released. I have used apps for labour, breastfeeding and taking handy span shots of memorable moments.
Which app have you used in parenting your little one?
